This is a sort of beef stew like dish and it is pretty yummy!
I was unable to find the type of onions used in the recipe but cut white onions into large chunks and that worked out pretty well. I would love to try it with the onions they used and will keep an eye out for them the next time I'm shopping in Vegas.
I was a little wary about the cinnamon and allspice used in the recipe. I didn't need to be, they enhanced the flavor and gave the broth a lot of depth. I ate this with warm French bread (and a salad) and dipped a lot of bread into that broth. (I am so full of bread as I write this... )
I would definitely eat this again!
